About the JHDC

The MAXUM DC platform brings DC-motor smoothness to commercial doors: soft start/stop that extends door life, battery backup so the door still runs in an outage, and Wi-Fi connectivity with Security+ 2.0® encrypted access. The JHDC is the hoist operator for larger sectional and rolling steel doors in the family.

What doors does the JHDC handle?

The JDC handles sectional doors up to 700 lbs and rolling steel doors up to 450 lbs; the JHDC hoist covers sectional and rolling steel doors up to 2,200 lbs. We’ll confirm sizing on-site.

Does it work during power outages?

Yes — battery backup is part of the MAXUM DC design, so the door keeps operating when the power doesn’t.

Is it a high-cycle operator?

MAXUM DC operators are rated for 20 standard or up to 30 extended cycles per hour — solid commercial duty. For extreme cycling we’ll spec accordingly.

How fast can Joe’s Doors install one?
