Four Common Reasons Your Garage Door May Need Service
- If your photo eye is misaligned or obstructed, you can easily fix it by cleaning and readjusting it until the light is no longer flashing.
- Broken spring: If the spring above the door is broken, you will need to replace it. You can tell if it is broken if there is a gap between the coils. If you have two springs, you should replace both at the same time.
